AIRPORT DUTY FREE STORES
Tourvest opened its first Ground Duty Free operation in August 2015 at Murtala Murhammed International Airport in Lagos, Nigeria in conjunction with Gebr Heinemann, the fourth biggest Duty Free operator on a global basis. The joint venture was secured in conjuction with the Federal Aviation Authorities of Nigeria (FAAN) to operate a departures store.
Tourvest operates a 366m² store in the International Departures Terminal, which is comprised of core duty free and a boutique housing brands such as Mont Blanc, Porsche Design, Chanel and Gucci.
The store has a comprehensive product assortment of well-known brands geared towards the Nigerian market as well as the ex-pat sector across the categories of liquor, fragrances, cosmetics, tobacco, confectionery and luxury brands.
